A Global leader in the field of Data Security requires a contract Systems Analyst with a knowledge of software remediation that has previously worked in the Banking and Financial Services Sector for an Upcoming project.
While challenging, the role offers ambitious Business/Systems Analysts the chance to further their careers by gaining valuable experience with a company right at the heart of the Irish Financial Services Sector.
The Systems Analyst (Remediation) will be required to participate in identifying, agreeing, documenting and driving efficiencies relevant to remediation of Software Vulnerabilities. Having achieved the remediation aim, they will then be required to establish a system of monitoring and governance
Due to the ongoing Covid 19 restrictions, this role will be offered on a remote basis initially but as the situation improves the Systems Analyst (Remediation) will be expected to make themselves available onsite for key meetings and at least some days every week.
Essential Candidate requirements
Degree qualified - in IT, Computer Science or appropriate Equivalent
4-5 years' experience working as a Systems/Business Analyst, with a company whose main business is banking, financial services or a related area
Demonstratable experience in process mapping and requirement gathering
Highly proficient in using SQL for data querying and analysis in large, complex database systems.
Previous experience in developing test cases and performing testing as part of various phases/cycles, eg QA, UAT, System Integration Testing
Very Strong general problem solving, quantitative and analytical skills
Proven communication and stakeholder management skills
Willing to work on-site in Ireland when Covid-19 restrictions are eased
