Skillset:
• Strong knowledge of O-RAN and V-RAN related components and its integration and deployment process.
• Expertise in 4G and 5G RAN technology(L1/L2/L3).
• Good understanding of the O-RAN Architecture, including the nRT-RIC-CU-DU interfaces.
• Excellent understanding and insight in 3GPP 4G and 5G specifications (RAN and core network).
• Strong Knowledge of LTE/LTE-A, Virtual RAN Feature, performance, stability, KPI and Mobility.
• Excellent understanding of LTE (End to End Architecture and Call flows) mandatory.
• Excellent understanding of Linux environment. Hands on working experience is mandatory.
• Excellent understanding of LTE MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, S1AP, X2AP, SON.
• Hands on experience in test execution, log collection and issue reporting.
• Good experience in analyzing logs and debugging issues for air interface, S1/X2 interface, multi-vendor Integration and inter-operability issues.
• Working Knowledge on Real UE/UE Simulators (TM500/IXIA), eNodeB (RRU, vBBU) and vEPC (MME, HSS, SGW and PGW) installations.
• Experience in Requirement understanding, Test strategy design, Effort estimation and test report preparation.
• Hands-on experience on Cloud infrastructure and RAN deployment in virtualized environment.
• Basic knowledge of cloud native technologies - Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Extensive experience in deploying and supporting wireless solutions with operators.
• Hands-on experience and expertise in estimating medium or large size projects.
• e2e cell site testing, validation and site performance testing.
• Knowledge of architectural and design principals.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for architecture of end to end deployable 4G/5G O-RAN solutions.
• Helps in identifying testing strategies and test plan development.
• Review detailed design and validation plan.
• Ensure customer facing product documentation content and quality meeting the delivery requirements.
