Job Title: DevOps Engineer - Azure
Location: Fully Remote
Salary/Rate: £540 per day (Inside IR35)
Job Type: Contract
Length: 6 months
If you are a DevOps Engineer looking for an exciting new contract opportunity, we have a great role for you. One of our UK Consultancy clients are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team on a government project.
*Previous Government experience is essential*
You would be:
* Responsible for the design and implementation of applications build, release, deployment and configuration activities.
* Responsible for working within multi-functional teams to gather requirements, evaluate tools.
* Implementing and updating solutions, build and execute test plans, provision environments, application performance reviews, assist migration of Legacy systems, and triaging and fixing operational issues.
* Collaborating with others when necessary to review specifications and uses the agreed standards and tools to design, code, test, correct and document programmes or scripts of medium to high complexity, using the right standards and tools
* Production and automation of Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
Requirements
Experience of using Ansible
Extensive Azure experience (as explained below)
The end client's Data and Analytics platform would be looking to utilise the following set of MS Products:
* Azure Synapse Analytics,
* Azure Data Factory,
* Synapse Workspaces,
* Azure Databricks,
* Azure Machine Learning Workspace
