Description
Essential Key Skills/Requirement
Proven configuration and deployment of GCP Security products, including but not limited to:
o Command Security Centre
o Cloud Armor
o Container Security
o Cluster Security
o API Security (APIGEE)
o Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform
o Advanced experience of implementing cloud infrastructure/security using GCP
o Secure Workloads in GKE
Responsibilities:
o Take ownership of the outstanding tasks
o Define mechanism for scanning containers for security issues
o Document hardening standards for both machines and containers
o Implement internal & external vulnerability scanning
o Design, implement and maintain core security products
o Maintain and improve developers tools, services and environment including CI/CD
pipelines
o Hardening cloud computing and cloud network environment
o Ensure security by design and default is implemented
Certifications:
o Professional Cloud Security Engineer
Desired Background:
5-10 years experience in tech
Work well cross-functionally and can communicates with audience who may not have a security background
GCP experience
o At least 2 years of GCP experience
o Experience implementing GCP security and hardening
o Deep knowledge of GCP IAM and how to configure least-privilege
o Expertise in automation tools such as terraform
o Cluster and container security
o GCP products and services (GKE, KMS, secret manager, pub/sub, compute engine ...)
Security experience:
o At least 5 years experience working in security (does not need to be on GCP)
o Experience writing code to solve security issues. This could be writing security tools, or automation/management of security sensitive environment
o Experiencing securing OS and app, hardening, logging/detection, general system design
o Networking knowledge, including network security and segmentation
