An experienced Data Manager is required to lead a high-performing cross-disciplinary data team and deliver strategic data products across a large major energy providers analytics platforms.

In this role the Data Manager will lead, grow, develop and manage cross-discipline teams of data engineers, data analysts, data scientists and software engineers that writes, deploys and maintains data products.

The Data Manager will need relevant strong experience to take responsibility for reviewing and ensuring use case, value case, and ensure acceptance criteria, definition of done and KPIs are clearly captured, tracked, and aligned with the digital and data strategy, as well as setting and implementing data standards, co-design data and identify opportunities to (semi-) automate manual data processes wherever possible.

The suitable Data Manager will require at least 3 years of experience leading, growing and developing a data team, as well as strong hands-on experience in data management, governance and process automation in complex, global environment. You will need experience of working on Data Migration projects, migrating big data to the cloud (Ideally AWS) and have strong experience in setting strategy and governance within a large Data team, as well as strong experience with big data technologies (eg Hadoop, Hive, and Spark or Cloudera).
