Linux Network Engineer/Linux Network Security Expert.
Superb client with offices across Europe, including Germany, the UK and Czech are urgently looking for an experienced Linux Network Security Engineer to help work on this huge Linux Data Centre Migration. This role will see you taking responsibility for the target architecture which will cover zones for internal services (VPN-only), Internet-exposed hosts (DMZ), out-of-band management for network devices (Firewalls, Routers, Switches), out-of-band management for Servers (DRAC, ILO, IPMI), lab, development and staging environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
- hands-on expertise with datacenter-grade Firewalls (2+ vendors)
- hands-on expertise with routing and switching in datacenters
- hands-on expertise implementing VPNs based on IPSec, OpenVPN, WireGuard
- hands-on expertise implementing bastion hosts (primarily SSH jumphosts)
