Architect - Infrastructure/Azure/GCP
Top consultancy is looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join them in a contract position with a blue chip company, based in London.
Skills Required:
- It is a hands-on, delivery focused role (but definitely architecture, not dev/engineering) to support the delivery of the IT for a new operational parcels hub - the project logical architecture is largely complete so it is into build phase
- IT Infrastructure, network infrastructure and security a key part of the role
- MS Azure will be central (and a bit of integration with GCP - so GCP desirable but not essential)
- I am expecting (and reading between the lines a bit based on knowing the way they work) that there will be a lot of technical direction of suppliers, oversight and assurance of supplier deliverables in a fairly complex supplier landscape, so experience of this would be good too.
- Awareness of operational tech (eg supply chain, logistics, manufacturing) would be desirable but not a must have
- Start will be ASAP, but I think they will flex a couple of weeks for the right person.
