Our client is Logistics & Warehouse Specialist who use technology to underpin and improve their business, ensure efficiency and provide competitive advantage. They are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to help implement a new data warehouse in an Azure environment as they are coming away from a ClickView environment.
To be successful in this role you must be an experienced Oracle DBA ideally with 3-5 years+ experience, with a minimum of 2 years' experience to be considered. You must be a leader and a doer with a hands-on approach. Successful performance will result in contract extensions for up to 18 months. As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for global administration and support of the Oracle database platform. You will work closely with our teams in related technologies and platforms to support Oracle database infrastructure.
Skills/experience:
- 5+ years DBA experience (Oracle DBA, Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, PL/SQL, OEM, Oracle Enterprise Manager, PL/SQL)
- New Data Warehouse Implementation with Microsoft Azure Data Warehouse
- 3-5+ years configuring Oracle and Microsoft databases
- Removal of ClickView processes
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization using monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Experience with backup, restore and recovery models
