My client urgently requires a Rollout Engineer to support one of their customers programmes in Reading.
START:
END DATE: (POSSIBLE EXTENSIONS)
LOCATION: READING
RATE: £17.50 PER HOUR (INSIDE IR35)
ROLE:
To support the new roll out of new Microsoft devices (surface pros) We require the engineer to assist with the setup & early-life support of these users from a physical and remote capacity. Over time, this rollout will increase through September.
Requirements:
> ability to quickly learn and support basic Desktop & Laptop hardware and software in XP and W7W10 environment.
> Good MS Office products experience
- Outlook and Office 365.
> Experience of using Blackberry IPAD, Android and other mobile devices.
> An understanding of wireless connectivity and fault diagnostics.
> To be able to floor walk and deal with any technical quires.
> Able to navigate around the OS, to find and recreate desktop shortcuts.
> Able to add printers and map network connections.
> To follow scripts to build and configure laptops and desktops.
> To perform moves and changes and set up workstations.
We require the engineer to assist with the setup & early-life support of these users from a physical and remote capacity. Over time, this rollout will increase through September. Provide support during core hours 7am to 7pm. Flexible to travel using quickest mode of transport.
