Solution Architect
My Leeds based client is looking to recruit an experienced Solution Architect on a contract basis. As Solution Architect, you will take responsibility for the delivery of change, offering thought leadership, guidance, solution outlines and options to ensure project solutions are aligned to the agreed future state.
Within this role, the Solution Architect will:
. Work collaboratively within the project delivery team to develop integrated solution Design stage ensuring that that there is a clearly documented technical scope with clearly defined accountabilities
. Access the completeness and correctness of the overall application template architecture for application functionality, data, integration, IT Infrastructure
. Make recommendations for change
. Provide stakeholder with ongoing visibility and control
. Support /design, build and test activities
. Act as principal Architect
. Assist in the development of an Implementation plan
. Develop project documentation packs
. Develop solutions that meet project requirements
As Solution Architect you will be able to demonstrate the following:
. Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks
. Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
. Exposure and understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments
. Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
. Strong leadership skills
. Excellent analytical and technical skills
. Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture
. Knowledge of business engineering principles and processes
. Familiarity with basic graphical modelling approaches, tools and model repositories
