Description

We are looking for an SQL DBA for a 6 to 12+ month contract in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Must be Dutch Speaking

Must Have:

  • SQL 2019/Always On configurations
  • Windows Server (2): the SQL team also patches its own Servers (OS level)
  • PowerShell
  • Demonstrated experience working in agile/scrum teams (day starts, refinements, retros, etc.)
  • Security affinity (as the Management department we work with Tenable and with that we map our vulnerabilities). This is also input for the weekly vulnerabilities sessions and the Sergeant of the Week role.
  • Be able to be available outside office hours in case of calamities and occasionally patch and test during the weekend (for example, if SysOps has made a major change).

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of SPLUNK
  • Knowledge of PowerBI
  • Knowledge of MarkLogic
  • Tenable
  • Coda/Promisse
  • Cloud (Azure) experience

With the following results (SMART)

  • SCRUM: Deliver project-based work such as stories and epics (and update administration in AzureDevOps).
  • KANBAN: Perform incidents, standard changes, monitoring, vulnerability management.

Relevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level

  • HBO/WO+ work and thinking level
  • Zie 'Must haves'
  • Good writing skills. In connection with describing the authorization Matrix of applications and operation of the system.
  • Being able to receive and give feedback on attitude & behaviour
  • Be able to work well together via an online (MS Teams) environment
  • No mentality
  • Good command of the Dutch language (word and writing). The language of instruction in the department is Dutch.
