Description
I am looking to hire an experienced 3rd Line Application and Cloud Engineer, to join a fast-growing Service Integration team, leading on project-based work-streams.
Location: Remote
IR35 Status: Inside
Reporting into the Head of Service Operations, you will be responsible for the following:
- Be efficient in responding to work packages from Transition and Design consultants.
- Respond and action pre-requisite activities in a timely manner.
- Deploy required internal tools sets in line with Service Design.
- Escalate all service issues initially with Team Leader.
- Be confident in making recommendations and deploy changes when required.
- Work collaboratively with consultants to better understand issues and provide resolutions.
- Provide technical assistance to on-going projects and the transition of new customers.
Skills/Experience required:
- Essentially, you will have 3 - 5 year's experience in a 3rd Line SLA-driven support role.
- Strong Customer service skills are really important.
- Proven commercial experience delivering projects and complex changes.
- Proven knowledge/experience in the following technologies:
- Windows Server inc Hyper-V - Essential
- Active Directory, Group Policy (Core AD Services, DNS, DHCP, GPO, AD Replication) - Essential
- Clear knowledge of SNMP both for Windows Servers and Network Devices and associated hardware
- Exchange - Sound Knowledge
- Microsoft SQL Server Administration - Sound Knowledge
- Lync/Skype for Business
- PowerShell config' and Scripting
- Cloud Technologies
- Remote management of Windows Servers 2012 R
- Clear capability to generate HLD, LLD and change documentation for use in customer/internal change boards.
- Able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Office 365
- Any experience with VMware/vSphere 5.5 - 6.5 is highly advantageous
