Description
IT/Telco Systems Trainer - Role is inside IR35Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
Role centres around creation of training material, and the roll out of training to the user base;
Learn to use, to an SME level, the system (training will be provided);
To have a thorough understanding of customer requirements, so training material is fit for purpose;
Adherence to client documentation policies, processes and standards;
Timely delivery of required documentation and training material;
Delivery of end user training to a level of quality expected by the public safety community;
Ensure training is conducted in the most efficient manner without compromising on quality and timescales and identify areas for improvements;
Attend technical and project meetings both by conference and face-to-face with customers/suppliers at all levels;
Identify and escalate risk;
Appropriately represent client at customer and supplier meetings.
Required to frequently travel to Client and Customer sites;
Knowledge, Technical Skills Experience required:
Must be able to attain SC/NPPV3 clearance;
4+ years experience of training users in Telecommunication (or equivalent) software;
Recognized Academic or Technical qualifications related to Software/Training;
'strong documentation creation skills;
Ability to use Word, Visio, PowerPoint to a high standard;
'strong training material creation experience;
'strong ability to learn new concepts;
Ability to self-teach ie use previous experience to learn how to use software and services not reliant on documentation;
'strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
'strong business/customer facing experience.
Desirable
Experience working with Telephone (PSTN/PBX/SIP, etc.) and Radio (TETRA, DMR, Broadband PTT etc.) Communications systems;
Core Competencies/Personal Profile:
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Must be able to attain SC/NPPV3 clearance.
