Description
Bristow Holland have an excellent opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join an organisation based in Norwich on a 12 month contract with a view for extensions paying up to £350 per day inside IR35.
Manage the day to day operations of the Infrastructure and Networks with responsibility for related upgrades, with a focus on security and compliance across the IT service.
The main responsibilities of this role are managing the operational aspects of the server and network infrastructure.
You need to ensure that services are provided in a professional and cost-effective manner which meets the quality and contractual requirements and that the service operates within budgets agreed with clients and the Infrastructure Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 3rd line support
- Designing and implementing networks
- Managing the core network, Routers and Switches as well as Firewalls.
- Implementing remote access solutions
- Firewall administration and monitoring
- Managing all of infrastructure for the organisation
- Supporting all hardware/software issues
Experience:
- Windows Server experience
- Office 365 experience
- Experience with Networks eg Routers, Firewalls and Switches.
- Virtualization experience (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Active Directory
- Technical knowledge of hardware and software.
In return you will receive a 12 month contract and day rate of up to £350 per day inside IR35.
