IT Asset Management Specialist Job description:
- Maintain and develop my client's tools to record ITAM information (IT Software and Hardware Asset Management)
- Optimize, rationalize and where possible, globalize the number of tools and licences worldwide
- Participate in suppliers' contract and agreement reviews (and potential negotiations)
- Help the IT team for the renewal of applications/licences and their budgets
- Share knowledge within the team and the department, building strong relationships
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and prioritize workload
- Maintain and develop department documentation (policies, working procedures, work instructions and forms, KPI), following ITIL standards and IT Strategy
- Support internal and external audit activities
- IT or Engineering degree
- Minimum of 2 years working in an IT Department, with knowledge on the IT tools side (licencing, renewals, notions of installation)
- ITIL certification would be a plus but not a requirement
- Knowledge of large scope of applications
- Autonomous, energetic and show initiative
- Good organization skills
- Good communication and presentation skills in English (both written and verbally) and the experience of working with global teams in various time zones and cultures
- Fluent in English, have strong ethics and can exercise in discretion
- Clear understanding of the business strategy and needs, and willing to support the population and the full IT department
