My client, a multinational healthcare and vaccine manufacturer with multiple sites in the U.K, including Cambridge, is seeking to hire an experienced Project Finance Director to provide advice, support and challenge Global Product Teams. Working with several teams, this role is accountable for the evaluation of projects by providing high quality financial and commercial input to product investment decisions.
The Job:
- Provide strategic financial advice, support and challenge project strategies, plans and investment decisions
- Responsible for creating robust financial cases for all investment decisions related to the business unit
- Provide innovative financial analysis and scenario modelling
- Champion good cost management during planning and execution phases
- Co-ordinate and lead a Finance Network for the product, both within R&D and across other areas
- Ensure senior finance leaders are appropriately briefed ahead of key decision points
- Provide Post Deal Management finance support for deals that fall within the responsibility of the department
Have you:
- The role holder will be a qualified finance professional with a minimum of 5 years of post qualified experience (or equivalent)
- Broad business/financial experience
- Good experience of project/product evaluation
- Extensive experience of working in a global pharmaceutical organisation/deep understanding of the drug development life cycle and/or commercial aspects is required
- Experience of working globally within multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural teams
- Demonstrated knowledge of global and corporate business context
