IP Network Test & Delivery Engineer - Nokia 7750
Our client, a global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced IP Test & Delivery Engineer with experience in Nokia 7750 to join their team in their clients' office in London.
This is a 6 month temporary contract, to start ASAP.
The right candidate should have minimum 6 years' relevant experience and hands-on experience in Nokia 7750.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional & non-functional Network testing while working closely with Network design & operations team
- Produce test plan, create lab topologies, perform testing, defect management, create test reports and MOP for upgrade
- Solution delivery into production to ensure smooth & event less roll out in production environment and handover to operations
- Migration of services in production environment
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years' relevant experience
- Hands-on experience in Nokia 7750
- Implementation/troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge in IGP, BGP, MPLS, VPN Services (VPLS, VPRN), QoS and MP-BGP
- BGP Policy configuration/troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge to review of design docs
- Knowledge in creating and implementing detailed MoPs
- Knowledge in applying changes during maintenance windows
- Hands-on experience in IOS-XR
Nice to have:
- Firewall knowledge
- SDN Network, Spine and Leaf architecture knowledge
- Hands-on experience in NX-OS
- Knowledge in EVPN, VxLAN, Mobile packet core interfaces and protocols
