Customer Support Engineer for Network Monitoring - Remote USA or LATAM ( WFH )

( Linux, Python, Shell, Monitoring, SIP, IP, 5G, LTE )

A leading provider in Network Monitoring solutions worldwide are searching for a Customer Support Engineer to provide technical assistance with their in-house/bespoke Network Monitoring tool.
Your prime responsibility will be to support the customer teams on operation and troubleshooting of the solution.

We are looking for candidates with strong knowledge of Python & Linux, it would be nice to have the following: Openstack (Heat), Azure, SIP and IP.

This is a unique opportunity to receive training on a market leading monitoring solution tools and work with a highly skilled, international team.
The company are an established and growing organization that designs and manufactures test instruments and service assurance products for fixed and mobile telecom networks.

Technical skills & Knowledge:
- 3+ years in operation support capacity
- 1+ years experience in a client-facing technical role.
- Exceptional skills with Python and Linux Shell (BASH, CSH, SH, KSH) Scripting.
- Working knowledge with openstack, heat templates, and Azure.
- Familiarity with SIP and IP Telephony protocols and the use of packet capture tools (eg Wireshark) to identify irregularities.
- Understanding of networking protocols TCP/IP, UDP, TLS, SSH, RTP, SIP, HTTP, DNS, NAT, and syslog.
- Fluent English is mandatory
