Service Now Platform Manager

Based in London a Service Now Platform Manager is required to work on a 3 month contract for a major banking client.

Day rate - £500 to £585 per day

Overview

  • Complete a review of the Service Now Platform, Date Model, integrations, architecture, support model, platform performance, team performance
  • Manage the delivery of the platform, improvements & enhancements
  • Manage the IT Service Owner activities for the renewal of the Service Now licenses via the same or a new License Added Reseller.
  • Identify improved ways of working with the License Added Reseller
  • Identify improved ways to partner and optimise the relationship with Service Now
  • Review the ITSM tooling and integration providing a recommendation for improvements
  • Work with the Robotic team to identify cross functional use cases or dependencies
  • Identify ways to optimise the use of the Service Now Professional License in the most cost effective way and/or create business cases where investment is required

Skills

  • Strong and deep understanding of Service Now Platform;
  • Strong and deep understanding of Service Now CSDM and best practise architecture
  • Strong experience of managing a team of outsourced or insourced developers
  • Experience prioritising workload in an agile manner
  • Experience acting as the Application Manager
  • Service Now accreditations
  • Previous experience and understanding of best practise configuration of Service Now Discovery and integrations with other secondary sources eg SCCM, SolarWinds, VCenter, ControlM
  • Experience of having carried out consultancy engagements to assess and improve Service Now as a Service
  • Good working understanding of ITSM processes across the life cycle;
  • Attention to detail and able to deliver high quality written and verbal output;
  • Ability to collate and summarise information and present it to senior leadership in a way that facilitates decision-making;
  • Ability to work independently and quickly get to grips with complex situations;
  • Experience of working with system integrators and managed services;
  • A team player with a positive and constructive attitude towards work and colleagues.
