Description
Required Qualifications:
- Hands on SAN Storage skills to manage EMC SAN (XtremeIO, VMAX) and IBM SVC.
- Good knowledge of Storage based replication (Recover point, SRDF etc)
- Good knowledge of Cisco MDS 9000 Series SAN Switches.
- Storage provisioning to the new and existing Servers.
- Reclaiming the storage from the retired Servers.
- Good experience on creating Zones and good knowledge on Switches.
- Experience on configuring the replication setup and troubleshooting in case of any issues.
- Gather requirements, installation, configuration, and testing of Storage & backups in high availability enterprise systems (Servers and Applications)
- Experience with performing infrastructure automation and development using configuration management and containerization technologies for distributed applications
- Experience on cloud infrastructure design and deployment in enterprise organization's working alongside infrastructure and operations teams.
- Must have experience with SAN/administration and should be ready to adapt new technologies
- Ensure availability of Storage on all required setups
- Ensuring proper functioning of centralized backup system & routine administration.
- Install, upgrade, maintain and support SAN Switches.
- Periodically review the storage and backup process and procedures to ensure right application settings
- Follow internal processes at all time (ITIL, time tracking, escalation, etc)
- Work closely with peers worldwide by taking part in periodic meetings and sharing knowledge
- Monitor applications and services within the environments, take actions to resolve issues and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Experience with project management
Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires 20% travel

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
