Description

  • Service Desk Advisors (x4)
  • Southampton, Hampshire (+ Remote Working)
  • 3 month contracts
  • c£180 per day (via Umbrella)

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of working multi discipline, medium sized skilled IT team for a Managed service provider (or within a large corporate environment)
  • Skills across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Zoom and Box, along with a working understanding of the Windows Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of SCCM, deployment techniques and software application packaging
  • Familiar with Mobile Device Management software and processes (via remote device)s are managed, providing a face-to-face service via our client's Tech Bar to ensure the needs of end-users are continually met
  • Experience of enterprise wide security tools (including Anti-Virus software)
  • Experience in Incident, Problem and Request fulfilment processes - ITIL experience (desirable)

The Opportunity:

My client are a managed service provider currently looking for some Service Desk Analyst to join a Helpdesk team on a contract basis onsite in Southampton. You must have an enhanced level of technical ability in products such as Microsoft 365, Anti-Virus, Mobile Device Management and SCCM that will help get the most value from recent and ongoing investment. The Service Desk role also operates a tech bar so you must be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical people in an efficient and timely manner.
