SmartSourcing have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to work in the Defence sector, Previous Defence experience would be preferred but is not necessary. This is a 3 month remote contract. Due to the urgency of the assignment, SC or DV (Developed Vetting) Security clearance is ideally required or candidates must be eligible for clearance.
This role will lead analysis and change of our clients Service Applications focused on Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM). It will be responsible for ensuring that the systems are effective and meet the requirements of the business and other stakeholder/user groups, delivering against performance KPIs and with an exceptional level of data integrity. It will also work in a collaborative manner with any relevant 3rd party providers.
Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications
Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of large-scale CAFM systems such as IBM Maximo (preferred), Planon, FSI Concept or similar
Appreciation of Information Security standards including Cyber Essentials Plus (CES+), ISO27001 and equivalent MOD defence standards
IT Service Management in line with the ITIL framework covering Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement
Understanding of Data Protection principles
Good grasp of Facilities Management and Asset Management principles
Skills:
Agile Development principles
Thorough requirement gathering skills
strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, persuade and communicate at all levels within the organisation and with local, regional and national stakeholders
Experience
Experience of delivery across a multi-site environment
Experience of dealing with 3rd party suppliers, and resolving challenges that arise
Experience in a similar FM environment would be beneficial
