Senior MCR/Broadcast Engineer - Global Sports Events - Satellite, Fibre, Video OTT etc - Global Travel!
We are looking for an experienced Media MCR or Broadcast Engineer to join our client - a global Service Provider of Broadcast & Media Services whom are a household name withing the industry & at the very cutting edge with respect to technologies!
Some key technologies include: Satellite Services (Uplink, Downlink), encryption, MCR.Fibre media delivery, Video encoding/decoding (J2K, H364, H265), Video Router control, Onsite Infrastructure rigging, Audio/Radio (RF, Talkback etc), MCR experience, Video over Fibre, OTT, Video over IP, Net Insight video distribution kit, video & audio monitoring, Tektronix Monitoring platform, MCPC Mux, Ateme, Imagine Communications, viz base band kit - encoders, decoders, rasterisers, video Routers, L2 IP Switches, waveform analysers etc, OTT, optical fibre, IP, MPLS, SDH, MCR, ScheduALL
This role is not only to work as an Broadcast Engineer, This person will be jointly responsible and accountable for the engineering support and delivery of customer services at tier 1 sporting events. This leads to a very varied and challenging role which is includes Operations & Support eg of live sporting events, Incident Management, video & audio monitoring, customer facing & being the customer champion on all live events, ownership of customer satisfaction and much more!
The role will involve a lot of travel (Global) and you will work on some worlds most exciting sporting events
