Enterprise Data Architect - West Sussex/Manchester/Remote - £ per day - Contract
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect for a client of ours who is having an exciting period of continued growth.
This is a contract position that can be fully remote however being able to attend meetings in either their Manchester or West Sussex based office would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will have experience of leading and consulting on the architectural transformation programmes within Cloud Data. Experience across a business services, financial or insurance based company is also highly desirable. You will need to be highly experienced in data management and its best practices within the Azure platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and co-ordinate the architectural Data transformation programme
- Definition and delivery of the technical roadmap of an organisation wide data strategy
- Governance and review of deliverables
- Provide consultancy on Azure best practice
- Ensure designs meet current programme objectives with foundations for future build capability
- Ensure solutions are in line with business value
- Assess, identify and document changes to current architecture
- Develop financial business cases, proposals and presentations at board level
- Technical review of 3rd party suppliers
- Support the organisation with a strong focus on the strategic and business benefits of generating value from data
