Desktop Support Analyst/2nd Line Support Analyst

A fantastic opportunity for an Desktop Support Analyst/2nd Line Support Analyst to join our Sunderland based client on an initial 3 month contract.

The role

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Desktop Support Analyst/2nd Line Support Analyst will be predominately based on one school site, responding to incidents and issues logged by the customer. They will also be influential in supporting the School to deliver their Teaching and Learning objectives through the use of ICT.

Key Responsibilities

* Support of all IT related equipment that falls under the managed service contract, this will include management of problems to resolution for ICT end user devices and
peripherals including both software & hardware as defined by the service level agreement -this may include both 3rd party equipment.
* Incident Management inc. meeting SLAs and contractual obligations by knowing and understanding the IT service delivery targets for the contract.
* You will be responsible for the technical progression and resolution of incidents that are allocated to you and you must also ensure that all systems used to carry out work
activities are updated on a Real Time basis including the completion of detailed and accurate call notes.
* You will be expected to follow the communication and escalation steps as outlined in process documentation, including change control

Attributes/Skills:

* Efficient use of communication and collaboration tools, in particular E-mail & MS Teams
* Experience within a similar Desktop/2nd Line role.
* A valid in-date enhanced DBS(Please note you wont be considered for the role if you don't have this)
* Support & Maintenance of Apple Products iPads, MacBooks, iMACs.
* Microsoft Products including Windows 10, Office Applications.Support & Maintenance of Apple Products
