Description
Application Support or Software Support Manager with live SC Clearance and experience of GIS applications is required by a leading company based in Taunton, Somerset.
Here is the cross section of skills we are looking for the Application Support or Software Support Manager to have.
- Software Maintenance
- Able to be customer facing
- 2/3rd line support experience of software applications
- Background in Geospatial software (right aptitude to solve solutions)
- Managing and installation of systems/software
- ESRi, QGis, Management of SLD (Style Layer Descriptors)
- Basic JavaScript, for web page configuration (desirable)
- Background in Defence Security (Armads, Security Pen Testing)
- Defence software security experience
- Experience working on classified network in defence
While experience of all of the above isn't required, good experience of software support and some GIS knowledge are the highly desirable aspects of this role.
This contract is due to be based out of Taunton, Somerset, requires live SC Clearance or DV Clearance and is outside IR35 for an initial duration of 12 months.
