for an existing contract with one of our direct clients we are urgently looking for a

IT Operations Support Engineer

Start: ASAP/Duration: 9-18 months/Location: NRW/Remote/ProjectID: 4516

Our automotive client is one of the largest international automotive manufacturers in the world, as well as a pioneer for the most innovative mobility solutions for companies and end customers. As IT Operations Support Engineer you will support the existing IT Operations and IT Service Desk team in troubleshooting and resolving end user service requests via phone, email, ticket system or remote desktop, ensuring first-class support and end user satisfaction.

Your tasks:

  • Technical support from 1st to 3rd level for internal end users in the various national companies
  • 60 to 70% technical support in the IT Service Desk area
  • 40 to 30% IT Service Desk via telephone, e-mail, ticket system or remote desktop
  • Processing of incidents and service requests as well as error analysis and elimination
  • Support and installation of hardware and software as well as creation of reports and user documentation
  • Communication with internal and external partners for the resolution of service requests
  • Documentation and quality assurance of requirements

Your skills:

  • University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable training
  • Enjoys communicating with end users and problem solving
  • Proven experience in technical support and IT Service Desk
  • Good knowledge of Windows 10, Azure AD, SCCM, MS Office, 2010 to 2016 and Outlook 2010 to 2016
  • Good knowledge of Exchange Online, Office 365 Products, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint etc. VMware, Air Watch, AWS, ticket management systems, Windows 2008 to 2016 Servers.
  • Strong problem solving skills and customer orientation
  • Experience from similar projects is mandatory
  • Outgoing and communicative team player with a confident demeanor
