Warrington with occasional travel

£560 per day

We are working with a client of ours based in the North West on their requirement for a Senior Information Risk Advisor on a contract basis. The Senior Information Risk Advisor will be responsible for conducting formal risk assessments and developing a secure by design approach that supports the business needs.

The successful candidate will have a Solid Cyber Security Risk Management background, with a broad exposure to security architecture across public sector projects and Expert knowledge of Cyber Security threats and exploitation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Information Risk Advisor with Public Sector experience and has worked within a regulated environment previously. Due to the nature of the project and the client, only candidates who are eligible for Security Clearance will be consider

Skills and Experience required:

  • Proven Senior Information Risk Advisor experience working within the Public Sector and within Regulated Environments
  • Must have NCSC Cyber Certified Practitioner (CCP) at SIRA Level certification or a former GCHQ CESG CLAS consultant
  • Able to interpret business requirements and technical IT documentation into Cyber Security requirements
  • Significant experience applying Cyber Security standards, IT and Information Assurance controls to business information models
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver presentations to stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security threats and exploitation
  • Strong understanding of IT architecture and NCSC architectural approach
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and senior management
