Description
We are looking for DV cleared DevOps Engineers for our clients new requirement coming from a winning bid. The roles are due to start between now and January 2022.
Responsibilities
* Review and perform due diligence on the existing customer application estate
* Understand current application configuration and integrations on Legacy OS's and rehost existing applications into new VMWare environments
* Plan and automate required data migrations
* Author or contribute to migration planning
* Deploy CI/CD toolchains into VMWare environments
Essential
* Windows 10 and RHEL
* Virtualisation - VMWare
* Creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, Git
* Scripting skills using PowerShell primarily but also Python and Bash
Desireable
* Knowledge of Geospatial Applications - ArcGIS, OpenSource, COTS
* Knowledge of imagery tooling and applications
* AWS hosting and automation
* Containerisation of applications using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
The role will start between now and January giving some flexibility on 6 month rolling contracts. The role can be worked in either Feltham or Farnborough and requires an active DV Clearance.
