Badenoch and Clark is currently working with a Midlands based Public Sector organisation who is looking to engage with a Head of IT for a 6 to 12 month period.
The role reports directly in to the CIO with responsibility for all aspects of IT (IT Service Delivery, IT Service Support, System Administration and Switchboard) totaling approximately 40 staff with a number of direct reports.
To be considered for the role you will have proven experience in a similar role and ideally have some exposure within the Public Sector (Local Government, Central Government, NHS, etc.).
As this role covers Helpdesk, 2nd Line and 3rd Line, someone who has strong ITIL experience (with associated qualification) is essential along with a background in technology.
Part of the role will be to review the and develop the service levels for the department so requires someone who can influence change at a large scale.
Please note that this role will fall in scope for IR35 and will require a candidate who works through an Umbrella Company or on a PAYE basis.
