Contract UI/Front End Developer, React, Redux, TypeScript, Strong UI. Immediate start - 8 month contract. Basingstoke, Hampshire and home based.

Market leading software house is seeking a contract Senior Front End UI Developer with good React skills to play a key role in their next generation of products. You will be in a team that is building a new SaaS/Cloud platform from the ground up. Strong React and TypeScript skills are required.

Duties and responsibilities include -

Designing, coding and unit testing user-interfaces which are modern, secure, performant and are easy to both maintain and extend with new features in the future
Interpreting feature requirements and functional wireframes into UIs in a way which is consistent with the product design
Working with architects and QA engineers to ensure that the UIs support test automation tools as far as possible
Working with architects and security consultants to ensure that the product meets industry security standards
Working with architects and engineering teams to ensure that the UIs make good use of appropriate technology to deliver good performance and scalability
Working collaboratively to achieve the agile team's definition of done'
Delivering an exceptional customer experience that focuses on reducing the Customer Effort'

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Frontend programming skills using the React framework with Redux
Web UX design skills
Proficiency with HTML, CSS/SASS, TypeScript
Test automation integration
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
GIT experience is a plus
