Description
An Enterprise ABC Compliance and Operational Risk role with direct coverage responsibility for EMEA. This role is maternity cover and reports to the International Head of ABC Compliance and Operational Risk based in London and is part of a wider Enterprise team with members based across the US, Canada, Latin America and Asia. The role involves responsibility for managing and identifying bribery and corruption risk, conflicts of interest and employee conduct. The role will also require contribution and input in the wider ABC program work including monitoring, testing, audits, regulatory reviews, transactional advice, and conflicts of interest and conduct related matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Present at EMEA business, Compliance and Operational risk committees and forums.
* Provide advice and counsel on ABC issues, and other key laws and regulations and where necessary, wider financial crime matters.
* Provision of advice on gifts and entertainment matters.
* Management of Third Party Intermediaries for the EMEA region (as required).
* Providing advice and counsel on pre-clearing political and/or charitable contributions and governmental outside business activities, sponsorships, responding to vendor escalations, reviewing and managing hiring practices escalation requests.
* Provide transactional advice regarding identifying and mitigating bribery and corruption risks, including undertaking transactional due diligence and research into ABC related matters and risks.
* Management of Audits and Regulatory Exam requests, risk assessments, training and awareness, and other Compliance program deliverables.
* Undertake risk assessments and the provision of training.
* Evaluate and advise on reputational and regulatory risks arising from clients, third parties and transactions in accordance with the Embedded compliance and operational risk program.
