IT Procurement Officer/IT Asset Procurement Officer (Global company)
3 month contract initially - high chance of extensions
The IT Procurement Officer/IT Asset Procurement Officer will work closely with and manage administration tasks on behalf of the IT team and will ensure contracts and licenses are maintained and renewed and will procure equipment and services on a global level.
Experience for the IT Procurement Officer/IT Asset Procurement Officer:
- Experience in IT Asset procurement - you will be working with the company's Global vendors to gain quotations for equipment and services
- Experience in maintaining the contracts database to ensure services are renewed and active
- Experience in budgeting and contract management.
- Knowledge of technology suppliers and the IT industry in order to maximise supplier relationship opportunities and achieve best value and services
- Knowledge of Microsoft/Apple and Dell products and the ability to challenge and influence suppliers
- Understanding of technology and how it is deployed.
- Comfortable managing vendors across several markets - this is a global role across UK, Europe and APAC.
