Day Rate: Up to around £40 per hour (inside IR35)
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: West London (with elements of hybrid working)
Our client are looking for a Platform Control Operational Lead to provide on-site operational and incident management of platforms.
The role:
- Hours: 24x7 shift-based pattern
- Maintain operational knowledge of all Platform Control functions
- Incident Management on all platform related MPI and HPIs, including incident prioritisation and minimisation of impact to customers
- Driving resolution of P1 & P2 Incidents
- Writing reports and metrics
- Maintain logging standards of wider team
- Review and improve PCC process and documentation
- Supporting the team in delivering change and operational readiness activities
- Liaise with business owners, senior management, users and other stakeholders
Experience needed:
- ITIL foundation certified
- Experience with incident management
- Strong troubleshooting skills and applying known fixes
- Reporting and logging skills
- Knowledge of Broadcast Platform systems, theories, workflows, principals and concepts
Nice to have:
- Experience working in media or broadcast type environments
- Linux/Unix experience
- Networking and SQL experience
