Netcool Consultant (SC Cleared)

Berkshire/Remote

Negotiable Day Rate

6 Month Contract

With current Covid restrictions, work will begin remotely and adjust accordingly as the situation changes

Digital Skills are working with a high-profile consultancy, who specialise in the telecommunication industry. We are looking for an experienced Netcool Consultant who will work closely with key business & IT/network stakeholders, business analysts, and other team members to understand and help define/elaborate requirements.

Experience & Competencies:

  • Delivery and support hands-on experience in IBM Netcool Application Suite such as Netcool Omnibus version , Netcool Impact 6.1/7.1, Netcool Probes/Gateways, Netcool WebGUI (TIP/Jazz-DASH), TBSM etc. and worked on industry-grade three-tiered Netcool Architectures as Developer/Solution Designer role.
  • Should have an excellent awareness of Netcool Architecture and hands-on experience in following Netcool Modules - Omnibus - TBSM - Impact - WebGUI - ITM - ITNM - ITCAM - TCR Report - Perl Script - Shell Script
  • Experience in third-party integrations of Netcool with other OSS and BSS components such as BMC Remedy/ServiceNow/Siebel, XMatters, Inventory Systems (Cramer/Granite etc.). Also, should have good experience of using Netcool components such as Netcool Impact for third party Database Integrations, Creation of Operator Views, Integration with WebServices (SOAP/REST), SNMP integrations etc.
  • Experience in Integration of EMS/OSS applications into Netcool using Netcool probes and Gateways.
  • Skills to perform/support Unit testing, E2E integration testing of developed functionalities Support the deployment process, including sanity testing Defect resolution
