Senior Systems Administrator
Umbrella Engagement/Inside IR35
The systems administrator works closely with the software engineers to implement and maintain platforms, applications and continuous-deployment pipelines across multiple projects.
Key Skills;
- CentOS, Ubuntu, Apache, NGINX, MySQL, SSL certificates
- Networking at the level of DNS, subnetting, Firewalls, load balancers
- Puppet
- Monitoring and metrics
- Containers -Docker and Kubernetes
- Scripting - preferably Bash and Python
- Familiarity with development best practices and to a lesser extent, continuous integration and deployment
- Use of Git and best practice around feature branches, merge requests and tagging
- AWS/Azure
