Description
We are currently hiring a DV Security Cleared VMWare Engineer for to work on a client project based in between Portsmouth and Salisbury. (The duration is likely to extend)
The successful candidate needs to have an active DV Clearance!
You will be in the Virtualisation Team. It is a small highly technical team tasked with ensuring the server and virtualisation estate is operational, performance, secure and supportable.
Experience of platform migrations (ESXi/vCenter 6.5 to 6.7) is a must.
The role will be required to implement, configure, support and operate the server and VMWare virtualisation estate, more specifically:
Skills:
Experience of platform migrations (ESXi/vCenter 6.5 to 6.7)
vSAN design, implementation and troubleshooting experience
strong SRM/vSphere replication experience
Strong VMware vSphere product experience in designing and engineering solutions
Storage experience, preferably 3PAR
Strong VMware product administration, hardening and troubleshooting experience
PowerCLI/PowerShell Scripting skills and experience
