Description
I am looking for a number of Network Engineers, experienced with Level 3 technical support (BAU), and who hold Palo Alto PCSNE certification.
You will be supporting a large portfolio of end customers, remotely.
This role is inside IR35.
THE ROLE:
- Respond/resolve incidents/tasks around Firewall Management, Incident Diagnostics and Assistance, Device Software Upgrades, Patches and Bug Fixes, Configuration Backup/Restore, within agreed SLA's.
- Setup VPNs, troubleshooting, NAT, and rule modifications, Radius, Tacacs, Policy manipulation, NAT overload, Firewall licensing, IPSEC and encryption methods, negotiation parameters and troubleshooting.
- Escalate and work with vendors when required.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 year's experience in a Level 3 Network Support role
- Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
- Extensive and proven experience with Cisco technologies (switching and routing)
- It is absolutely essential that you hold Palo Alto PCSNE certification
- Proven commercial experience working with Panorama and Prism Cloud
- Any experience with Checkpoint, F5, HP, Citrix NetScaler, Cisco Nexus (5k, 7k) would be beneficial
- A good knowledge of ITIL processes
