Role: Post Trade Ops Lead
Contract length: Initial 6 months
Location: London
Pay rate: As per market rate
IR35 status: TBC (client will complete assessment)
One of my global consultancy clients are currently recruiting for a Post Trade Ops Lead to join them on-site in London for an initial 6 month contract.
Experience required:
* Experience - 12-15 years
* Level - ED or Senior VP
* Type of banks/organizations to look for - Inter dealer brokers (ICAP, Ex. BGC, Ex. Cantor) OR Candidates from TCS, Infosys, Wipro, eClerx who have good exposure to IB Ops and setting up operations should be considered as well.
Functional skills:
* Should have played the role of an Operations Manager for a line of business
o Post trade operations/Trade life cycle (Affirms/Confirms, Pre & Post Settlements, Reconciliations)
o Reference data management
o Collateral Management
o Asset servicing
* Formulate the Change & Innovation Roadmap, working closely with the various Senior stakeholders (MD level) at Bank
* Define Optimum Operating Model and drive improvement in productivity, efficiency, innovation, and service delivery agenda
* Experienced with consolidating and setting up centralized locations for operations
* Provide end-to-end assurance and traceability; ensure rapid identification, intervention, and resolution of issues
* Strong industry knowledge and proven program deliveries on Intelligent Operations within IB/BD/PB
* Good understanding of various asset classes and products - EQ, FI, FX, commodities, derivatives, ETD
* Knowledge of exchange and OTC markets
* Provide consolidated view of all changes & innovations running in the Bank to CXO level
Regarding the type of banks, it could be some working with vendors firms as well, who do similar exercises ie, Blueprinting, managed ops etc.
