Description:
The company has done a roll-out of Power BI across 300+ key users
In order to manage well the ways of working around Power BI, they have a central Power BI Competence Center
In this Power BI Competence Center, they are looking for additional support that can take on the responsibilities below
Key responsibilities:
Help the Power BI competence center in their Power BI administration role (license management, premium capacity management, etc.) and to further automate their work (eg automation of reviews by creating customized scrips in the best practice analyzer of Tabular Editor, optimizing the review process flow, etc.)
Coach Power BI users on how to properly work according to the defined best practices within the customer
Support the Power BI competence center in reviewing reports that were created by users before publishing them on a critical capacity (eg Datamodelling, setting up connections & right refresh rates)
Facilitate champion community meetings on Power BI
Provide onboarding trainings for new joiners to get them up to speed with Power BI (based on standard onboarding material for Power BI at the customer)
Profile:
Have an solid understanding of the set-up/administration around Power BI (eg Premium capacity management on P1/P2/P3, Pro Licenses, types of roles within Power BI, refresh & connection options, etc.)
Strong Power BI experience to be able to coach people who worked already with Power BI before (incl. SSRS, SSAS, DAX)
Strong communication skills
Experience in giving training sessions on Power BI to groups of 10-15 people & facilitating community meetings (20+ people)
A plus would be any experience with Tabular Editor to create customized scripts in the Best practice analyzer
Language: English + French (Dutch is a plus)
