Cloudera Infrastructure Support Engineer - CDH 6.3, ServiceNow, CDP, CDSW, Ansible/Jenkins, SPARK, Linux
One of Xpertise Recruitment's key clients is urgently looking for an Cloudera Support Engineer (CDH 6.3, ServiceNow, CDP, CDSW, Ansible/Jenkins, SPARK, Linux) for an immediate start on an initial 6-month contract (with potential for long-term extensions).
Essential Experience:
- Excellent Cloudera Administration version 6.3 and above
- Knowledge of CDSW and associated administration
- Knowledge transfer to junior members of staff
Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge of migrations or upgrades of CDH to CDP
- Knowledge of using SPARK and Kerberos in a Cloudera environment
- Evidenced relevant Cloudera certifications/Training
- Automation of builds and Ansible/Jenkins
- Monitoring of Cloudera Environments
- Linux Administration
The role is fully remote but may require the occasional (once or twice per month maximum) trip to Glasgow when safe levels of covid permit.
