Description
Synchro are proud to be working exclusively with a large and well known organisation to recruit for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong AWS/GCP skills and solid understanding of Windows and Linux infrastructure.
This role will be predominantly working across 2 workstreams, including upgrading the organisations existing Windows Server Estate. There will also be some work involving Linux Servers, so some experience in this area would be great, although not essential. Any experience of Cyber Essentials will also be really useful, although this is more of a nice to have than an essential.
This role will also look at helping the organisation to add technical capability and scale up their public cloud infrastructure, working with GCP & AWS.
This role will be predominantly working remotely/from home, however occasional travel to the office, in Corby, is required. This is likely to average out to one day a week, although there is lots of flexibility around this.
What we are looking for:
- An experienced Cloud Engineer, ideally with a SysAdmin background.
- A solid understanding and prior commercial experience of AWS and/or GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong experience of patching and upgrading Windows Server.
- Any experience of Linux, SQL Server and Cyber Essentials would be beneficial, although these are only desirable.

Location: Corby with remote/flexible working
Rate: £450 - £550 per day - OUTSIDE of IR35
Duration: 6 months initially
