I am currently helping my client, a world class Technology company, to source for a skilled Applications Architect:
Skills and Experience Required:
- Knowledge of operating systems SME, application architecture and configuration (eg databases & clustering)
- Ability to decompose existing applications to understand their architecture and interactions with other systems
- Experience in migrating from VMware to Azure, migration tooling (automation),
- Experience of application remediation as part of a migration to the cloud strategy
- Scripting, knowledge of networking/security, reporting, stakeholder management
- Able to prepare HLD/LLD's
- Experience of applications/data migration projects and the technical and business risks of such projects would be beneficial
