We are seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer with the below:

A Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer works on large, complex IT deliveries.
Working close to multi-disciplinary project teams, as well as a broad range of experience in working with other team structures, such as being Embedded with a third-party supplier.
Defining and implementing technical standards in a large organisation.
Delivering infrastructure that can support applications using modern, automated approaches, including automated infrastructure provisioning and software deployment onto Cloud services including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines..
Delivering a range of different types of architectural solution, including the use of third-party software products. Products that can support the Web Operations team directly or others such as developers or test engineers.
Experience of supporting a modern cloud environment including live environments using ITIL based tooling (ServiceNow), ServiceDesk, out of hours support.
Experience of working with customers to implement solutions, and be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues.
What knowledge is needed to be able to undertake the responsibilities of the role?
The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer has knowledge and understanding of the organisational objectives with the ability to plan ahead, adapting their approach to meet changing needs of applications being supported and onboarded in the future.
Key knowledge areas include cloud infrastructure, Cloud PaaS Services, database engines, web infrastructure, network protocols, Linux or Windows administration application architectures, integration patterns, ITIL Service Management processes, DevOps culture, information security, continuous delivery tools, agile delivery methodologies and monitoring toolsets.
Knowledge to apply standards, maintaining technical responsibility.
Working knowledge of the supported Cloud Providers Security and Architecture Principles is essential. Accountable for simplifying complex technical issues into impact statements often at short notice and applying innovative approaches to complex issues.
Maintenance of up to date knowledge of new technologies and techniques as well as industry standard patterns and best practice, all of which are constantly changing is essential.
