IP Network Design Engineer - Nokia 7750
Our client, a global supplier for IT services, requires experienced IP Network Design Engineers with experience in Nokia 7750 to join their team in their clients' office in London.
This is a 6 month temporary contract, to start ASAP.
The right candidate should have strong understanding of distributed Hardware architecture and hands-on experience in network design with Nokia 7750.
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of distributed Hardware architecture and hands-on experience on Nokia 7750
- Strong experience on ISIS, MPLS, RSVP, TE, Hierarchical QOS, LACP, BGP
- Solid service provider routing and switching skills
- NRS II certified (Desirable)
- Competent in designing Carrier grade network solutions for projects, complying with IP Net. Dev. design standards
- Good experience with service provider technologies for supporting carrier routing
- Strong understanding of Reliability Matrix, availability Matrix, longevity of design and commercial aspect of solutions
- Excellent (document writing skills) in producing artefacts such as HLD and LLD, presentation and technical diagrams as part of project engagements
- Possess excellent communication skills to convey risks, obtain sign-off, timely escalate issues to management, and send weekly project updates
- Elicit requirements from stakeholders to design optimal solutions
- Ensure eventless rollout of network changes by reviewing change requests
