Description
We are looking for an experienced Incident Manager to for our clients requirements. The role is due to start ASAP and requires an active security clearance.
Drive the resolution of assigned incidents through the following activities:
oMonitor the Incident Management mailbox.
oRaise tickets, in Remedy, on behalf of the client in a timely manner.
oMaintain overall ownership of all incidents (including Security Incidents which will be managed in conjunction with the appropriate Security Operations Centre/team).
oEscalate issues when prioritisation decisions are required.
oIn collaboration with the technical resolver team(s) verify incidents to ensure they meet the correct criteria.
oGiving priority to high-impact incidents (P1 and P2).
oEnsure that the technical team(s) are engaged to investigate and diagnose incidents.
oEnsure that accurate details of the investigation and resolution are recorded.
oConfirm the resolution of incident with the technical team(s) and users.
Skills and Experience:
*Previous experience of Incident and or Major Incident management.
*Previous operational experience.
*Reporting and the preparation of management information.
*Working knowledge of Remedy is desirable.
*Full understanding of Incident Management and Major Incident Management Cycle.
*High-level understanding of IT infrastructure environment(s)
*ITIL v3 or 4 Foundation certificate required
The contract runs until and requires an active SC clearance. It is outside IR35 and will be fully remote bar travel to Corsham once per 2 months.
