Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and understanding of customer requirements
  • Good Process Knowledge in continuous production line related to food processing and packaging
  • Should be aware of all the processes right from handling raw material, till the final food package; Good knowledge in VFFS (Vertical Form Fill and Seal) systems
  • Very strong in engineering fundamentals and its application related to food and beverages process engineering.
  • Knowledge in different packaging methods, processes, process line equipment/key components, their control systems
  • Good understanding of production methods, throughput measurements, quality control systems relevant to food processing and packaging domain
  • Basic knowledge in fundamentals of chemical engineering, organic materials, acids/alkaline associated chemical reactions & food grade packaging materials
  • Manage and ensure compliance with all relevant Food Packaging standards. Also, ensure comprehensive engineering, as necessary, in the design and sale of Packaging equipment
  • Ability to work independently and should be a good team player
  • Should possess strong written and verbal communication.
  • Shall be able to demonstrate: Clear thinker, Customer focus, Imagination, Expertise, Inclusiveness
  • Should understand client service offerings, capabilities and limitations in detail and to be able to estimate the work/tasks that meet customer needs.
  • Strong team player, able to foster good working relationships with other product functions
  • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills. Ability to handle complex information/situation and recommend ways to simplify.

    • Basic Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Design, any related field or 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in food processing methods, technologies used, critical challenges and aware of latest developments
  • Able to conceptualize for new processes based on the customer needs and support in developing it
  • Experience in understanding technical drawings, standards. Also, hands on experience in CAD packages
