Description
DWP are seeking a Digital Performance Analyst to join their team in one of the following offices: Manchester, Blackpool, Leeds, Newcastle, London or Sheffield. The role will be a hybrid of onsite and remote working.
Initial contracts will run for 6 months and offer a rate up to £400/day.
IR35 STATUS: Inside IR35. This engagement has been assessed by the public body as Inside IR35 legislation. Candidates would be required to operate through an umbrella company on this engagement.

This role requires Active SC (Security Check) clearance. Applicants require active SC clearance before starting on site.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver performance analysis that helps services to meet the Government's Digital by Default Service Standard.
- You are responsible for delivering high-quality analysis of departmental web analytics and other data in relation to digital services.
- The key purpose of this role is to deliver accurate and efficient performance reporting and analytical insight for the digital services that you work with.
- You ensure the business understands how people are using our digital service(s) and will focus on undertaking analysis that will drive customer-centric innovations and investments to improve the user experience.
Minimum Requirement
- Have a deep technical knowledge and understanding of the configuration and deployment of digital analytics tools.
- Be able to validate/assure analytics configurations and design overall implementation protocols for analytics tools.
- Understanding of programming and reporting languages such as SQL, Power Query; M and DAX in the context of implementation and configuration of analytical data.
- Able to use quantitative and qualitative data about users to turn user focus into outcomes.
- Delivers analysis and information that addresses stakeholder needs and provides recommendations.
- Collaborates with user researchers and other user-focused professions.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, this role will not offer Visa sponsorship. Tier 2 - General visas are cannot be accepted. This role requires that candidates be willing to undergo BPSS (DS) Baseline Personnel Security Standard (with a Disclosure Scotland).
