Skills and Experience:
- Assist in the development of migration method maturity levels across client Platform and Storage teams and the clients Project team.
- Open Replicator Hot Pull may be 100% mature, ie the platform and storage teams are very familiar and have good documentation/run books.
- PPME may be 10% mature, ie it is untested in the environment and needs testing plus documentation/run book creation.
- The Migration Support Architecture role can assist in progressing the maturity level of the desired migration methods.
- NDM (Non-Disruptive Migration) pilot and testing activities
- Must have Vmax, Powermax, Cisco and Brocade
- MS Exchange and Active Directory
- Looking at the EMC (VMAX All-Flash Array (AFA) and NetApp storage across their Data centres
The Opportunity:
My client are a managed service provider who are currently looking for a Storage Architect on a 12 month contract basis. You will be working on the completion of architectural documentation regarding designs/patterns/principles into the SOTF architectural repository (from a Storage perspective). You must have current (or recently expired) MOD SC Clearance to be considered for this opportunity.
