Network Engineer - London - £350 per day (Inside IR35) - 5-Month Contract
Experience/Technical Requirement
Multiple years of experience in the following:
- Hands-on fluency networking expertise.
- Core routing and switching (Cisco devices such as Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, CSR, Prime Infrastructure).
- Networking into and within public cloud offerings (Azure, AWS, and Public Cloud infrastructure)
Knowledge of the following:
- Ethernet frames, frame switching, Ether types: T-1, DS-3, PPP, and Frame Relay.
- SDN technologies and strategies (SD-WAN, Spine/Leaf architectures, VXLAN, SPB, OTV) MS Office products, specifically Visio.
- Familiar with compliance requirements and frameworks (PCI, NIST, CIS, HIPAA/HITECH/HITRUST, SOX etc).
- Network Security and mitigation products (SIEM, IDS/IPS) and Nessus.
- Unified Computing System (UCS) and associated network technologies.
- Firewalls and Load Balancers (Cisco ASA/ASAv, Vyatta VARs, Citrix NetScaler, F5, etc)
Certifications
One or more of the following:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Security related certifications (Security+, etc)
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv3)
